Concrete Finisher

Osage Beach, United States

Location: Lake of the Ozarks, MO

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our shoreline construction division at Trico Dock Company. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality concrete work and enjoys working in challenging waterfront environments.

In addition to finishing concrete, this individual will be a key contributor to our riprap and shoreline protection crew, supporting multiple types of projects that require precision, durability, and coordination on the water. If you're adaptable, detail-oriented, and confident operating in non-standard field conditions — this is your kind of job.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality concrete finishing on waterfront structures including piers, pockets, footings, ramps, and walkways

  • Work in and around unconventional terrain and jobsite layouts, often from the water or dock platforms

  • Support shoreline protection projects including riprap installation and site preparation

  • Operate and navigate work barges and dual-motor boats to transport tools, materials, and crew to remote job sites

  • Assist with layout, form setting, grading, and concrete pours with attention to slope, drainage, and long-term performance

  • Maintain a clean and safe job site while following all safety protocols

  • Perform general labor duties related to shoreline construction, including material handling, equipment transport, and site cleanup

  • Collaborate with site supervisors to meet deadlines and ensure quality craftsmanship

  • Assist with basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed

  • Must have reliable transportation and be punctual to keep job flow and schedules on track

Qualifications

  • Strong concrete finishing experience required, especially in custom or high-exposure environments

  • Comfortable working on and around water; boat/barge operation skills strongly preferred

  • Experience with riprap, shoreline protection, or marine construction is a plus

  • Familiarity with layout, forms, rebar, and custom concrete work

  • Ability to perform physical labor outdoors in various weather conditions

  • Must be safety-minded and capable of working in a team environment

  • Mechanical skills or dock building/welding experience a bonus (but not required)
